Mobile iOS Engineer (AI)

Location: Palo Alto, CA or New York, NY, United States

Salary: $180,000–$440,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Design and build intuitive mobile experiences that change how users interact with AI.
• Refine pixels, animations, and interactions to deliver seamless, high-quality interfaces.
• Build fast, highly performant iOS systems and optimize critical user experiences.
• Make technical and product decisions in collaboration with AI researchers and engineers.
• Integrate and deploy state-of-the-art AI models for users globally.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
• Experience optimizing memory, CPU, and GPU performance with low-level tools.
• Proven ability to design and ship intuitive, pixel-perfect mobile interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of concurrency and reactive programming with Combine.
• Experience building high-throughput REST, gRPC, or AI model integrations.
• Ability to own complex features from architecture through App Store deployment.

Nice to have

• Deep expertise in the Apple ecosystem and iOS development tools.
• Rust experience for backend components.
• AVFoundation experience with real-time audio processing.
• Experience shipping standout applications or major product features.
• Strong product sense and the ability to anticipate user needs.
