Salary: $160,000 - $220,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain high-fidelity real-time simulation software for all hirify.global vehicles
• Build prototypes to validate design concepts and technical constraints
• Improve reliability and performance of simulation software
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop models of fluids, electronics, and multi-body physics systems
• Work with users to develop new features and enhance user experience

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee due to ITAR regulations
• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, math, or STEM with 5+ years software development experience or 7+ years professional experience
• 2+ years development experience in C/C++
• Strong software design, debugging, performance optimization, and unit testing skills
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends when needed
• Ability to work independently and in teams in a dynamic environment

Nice to have

• Experience with open source C++ simulators such as ROS2 and Gazebo
• Knowledge of distributed computing, networking protocols, memory management, and CPU scheduling
• Strong understanding of classical physics and math
