What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain Teradata databases across Development, Testing, and Production environments.
• Monitor database performance and apply tuning configurations to ensure system efficiency.
• Manage user access, roles, and database structures including security configurations.
• Develop and maintain backup and recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues including SQL tuning and workload management (TASM).
• Collaborate with development teams and provide 24x7 on-call support, maintaining documentation for compliance.

Requirements

• Location: Must be onsite in Atlanta, GA, USA
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Teradata Database Administration.
• Strong hands-on experience with Teradata tools, utilities, and SQL tuning techniques.
• Proficiency in UNIX scripting and workload management (TASM), with experience in performance optimization and reporting (Power BI).
• English: B2 level or higher required
