TL;DR

Senior Software Systems Engineer (PeopleSoft/SQL): Build and support a Finance Data Lake initiative that centralizes ERP and supply chain data into a Hadoop big data platform for reporting, analytics, and self-service discovery, with an accent on PeopleSoft ERP data structures and transactional relationships. Focus on designing and delivering complex PS queries, analytics, metrics, and reconciliation reporting, while coordinating requirements gathering, testing, and UAT in an Agile Jira workflow.

What you will do

  • Work with the Financial Data Lake team and business users on requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing, and coordination of UAT.
  • Evaluate Finance Data Lake (FDL) objects, analyze business processes, and identify, document, and resolve project issues.
  • Build PeopleSoft (PS) queries and deliver complex analytics, metrics, and reporting for evolving business needs.
  • Perform gap analysis sessions for enterprise-level analytics, metrics, and reports.
  • Support integration testing and UAT activities within an Agile process using Jira.
  • Use SQL, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint to produce analytics and presentations.

Requirements

  • Location: Irving, TX
  • Extensive PeopleSoft ERP functional knowledge, including data structure and transactional relationships across modules (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Asset Management, Sourcing, Labor, and Time).
  • Experience building PS queries and delivering complex analytics, metrics, and reporting.
  • Experience with Agile processes and Jira, including requirements analysis, design, development, integration testing, and UAT.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint for analytics and presentation.
  • 4-year degree.
