Salary: £85,000–£100,000

What you will do

  • Develop secure, performance-optimized, and scalable code with thorough testing and documentation.
  • Maintain, support, and debug legacy financial applications in production.
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams for stable deployment and operation.
  • Investigate and resolve performance, stability, and integration issues.
  • Write and optimize advanced SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies.
  • Contribute to basic cloud administration and mentor junior staff.

Requirements

  • Location: Hybrid role based in London, UK
  • English: B2 level or higher
  • B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience with 5+ years in web application development.
  • Strong proficiency in .NET Framework, Entity Framework, ASP.NET Web Forms and Web API, PHP, and JavaScript.
  • Expertise with SQL Server and PostgreSQL including query optimization and advanced database features.
  • Experience mentoring and leading a small development team.

Nice to have

  • Experience with .Net Core, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, and DevExtreme.
  • Basic cloud infrastructure experience (preferably GCP, AWS, or Azure).
  • Familiarity with Vue.js, DevExpress, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Finance industry experience and understanding of financial products and regulations.
