Location: Hybrid - 2-3 days per month on-site

Salary: Up to £95,000 per annum

What you will do

• Provide strategic direction to the engineering team, ensuring alignment with business and product goals.
• Implement Shift Left principles and quality-driven SDLC processes.
• Create solutions for high-traffic environments, leveraging serverless systems and efficient API calls.
• Oversee code quality, security best practices, and vulnerability management.
• Mentor Lead Developers and cultivate leadership skills within the teams.
• Manage challenges in high-traffic systems and scalable infrastructure.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Head of Engineering or similar leadership role.
• Strong background in software architecture and quality-driven development.
• Hands-on expertise in mobile app development (iOS & Android).
• Deep understanding of scaling high-traffic applications and database performance optimization.
• Strong Cloud background (AWS or Azure preferred).
