What you will do

• Develop large-scale Java and Kotlin software applications with a focus on quality and scalability.
• Commit code and ship products addressing enterprise-level software challenges in a startup environment.
• Design and implement scalable, high-availability software systems supporting millions of endpoints.
• Collaborate with engineers to maintain quality-first standards and optimize software performance.
• Work on client-server architecture and asynchronous application design.

Requirements

• Must be located in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, or Mexico.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of Java software development experience; Kotlin expertise is a plus.
• 7+ years working with highly scalable software systems.
• Strong knowledge of OOP design principles, API best practices, REST services, and relational databases.
• Experience with caching systems like Redis and quality testing practices.
