What you will do

• Develop new and evolve existing ultrasound imaging modes and algorithms
• Own specific clinical applications and optimize image quality in collaboration with clinical teams
• Partner with hardware, software, transducer, and ASIC teams to innovate next-generation devices
• Implement image processing pipeline components using Python, C++, or GPU coding
• Support various tasks related to ultrasound imaging engineering and algorithm acceleration

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• M.S. or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field with 5+ years industry or academic experience in diagnostic ultrasound
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound modes, beamforming, and signal/image processing
• Proficient in C, C++, CUDA, OpenCL, Python, and Matlab
• Passionate about hardware-software integration and advanced mathematical modeling

Nice to have

• Project leadership and coordination skills
• Knowledge of analog/digital circuits and FPGA programming with Verilog
• Understanding of human physiology related to ultrasound
• Familiarity with GPU hardware and development environments like Vulkan
