What you will do

• Act as a product owner for Grid Code Compliance within Nordex, ensuring all requirements have test cases.
• Analyze and translate Grid Code requirements into software development processes, abstracting them into software requirements and test cases.
• Develop internal product specifications for Grid Code compliance and support sales and project phases.
• Define test plans and perform, evaluate, and document Grid Code compliance tests on various levels.
• Specify new functions and features to optimize Grid Code compliance at wind farm and turbine levels.
• Shape Grid Code requirements in working groups and directly with utilities and customers.

Requirements

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems or a similar field.
• Experience with Grid Code requirements, defining test cases, and ideally test-driven development.
• Good knowledge of Grid Code compliance on a power plant level and software details, ideally from experience with a wind turbine OEM.
• Programming experience in Python or a similar language for test analysis and automation.
• Fluent spoken and written English is required.
• Proactive, assertive team player with good communication skills.
