What you will do

• Design and automate security controls, detection mechanisms, and tooling for infrastructure and products.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new security technologies, techniques, and frameworks.
• Implement and maintain security monitoring and remediation systems.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to integrate security into new features and development pipelines.
• Contribute to improving security standards, processes, and best practices.
• Conduct risk assessments and threat models and participate in incident response activities.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in Information Security engineering or related technical domains.
• Strong understanding of Information Security principles for modern cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• At least three years of experience operating, configuring, and managing SIEM, threat detection, EDR, SAST, and SOAR systems.
• Proficiency in scripting or automation with Python, Bash, Go, or similar.
• Solid understanding of computer systems, networks, and low-level protocols from an Information Security perspective.
• Experience in incident detection, response, and vulnerability management.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
• Must be based in North America (specifically the United States).

Nice to have

• Experience scaling Information Security programs in high-growth SaaS organizations.
• Cloud-specific Information Security certifications (e.g., AWS Security Specialty).
• Experience with complex secrets management systems like Hashicorp Vault.
• Experience contributing to Information Security communities or open-source security tools.
• Background in privacy engineering or secure software design.
