What you will do

• Lead design and development of enterprise data pipelines and ingestion frameworks.
• Develop optimized data models and schemas for analytics and visualization.
• Implement best practices for version control, CI/CD, and modular data workflows.
• Mentor and review data engineers to ensure quality and scalability.
• Optimize and automate data integration to improve efficiency and reduce latency.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Canada
• 10–12 years of data engineering experience, including 3–5 years in senior or lead roles.
• Expertise in SQL/NoSQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT design.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP data platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, security, and lineage.
