Senior Data Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Data Engineer: Joining a team on a project for a major American investment client with an accent on designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines in AWS. Focus on ETL/ELT batch and streaming workflows, data transformation, and orchestration.

Location: This position requires a hybrid work model (3x/week) at our office in Campinas, SP, Brasil.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines in AWS.
• Work with ETL/ELT batch and streaming workflows, data transformation, and orchestration.
• Ensure data reliability and integrity across pipelines and systems.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and clarify objectives.
• Identify and communicate impacts of changes to other teams and systems.

Requirements

• Have advanced English proficiency for conversation.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Serverless services [like Lambda and AWS Glue, DynamoDB , ECS etc.]
• Hands-on experience with S3, IAM, CloudWatch, Step Functions, and other AWS relevant services.
• Proficient in Troubleshooting and Problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with version control systems Github, building Github workflows and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with marketing technologies and customer data platforms.
• Experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), especially CDP.
