What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of research scientists and engineers working on generative AI initiatives.
• Define and execute a multi-year research roadmap covering evaluation, post-training, agents, and reinforcement-learning environments.
• Set scientific milestones, allocate resources, and ensure rigorous execution from prototyping through deployment.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, client-facing teams, and external academic or industry partners to translate research into actionable outcomes.
• Publish research, present at conferences, contribute to open source, and represent the research organization externally.
• Build an inclusive, high-performing culture while supporting technical development and recruiting research talent.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on research experience in machine learning, deep learning, generative models, agent or reinforcement-learning systems, or a related field.
• PhD or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong research record, including publications at leading machine learning and AI venues such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, or ACL.
• Experience delivering significant research impact in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience leading or managing research teams, with strong mentoring and coaching skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
