Salary: $175,000–$210,000

What you will do

• Develop and implement data platform solutions to meet business needs and provide managed data delivery.
• Design and operate stream processing architectures ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Participate in scaling and operations of relational and distributed NewSQL datastores.
• Improve performance, security, and reliability of data platforms and related services.
• Establish data access and storage guidelines and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
• Collaborate within a diverse engineering team and contribute to Kubernetes operator development.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. person or eligible to access export controlled information per U.S. Government regulations.
• 6+ years of experience in software or infrastructure engineering.
• Experience with reliability engineering, data consistency, concurrency models, and distributed NewSQL datastores.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Linux, shell scripting, and programming in Go, Python, Java, or C.
• Location: Hybrid in specified U.S. offices or remote if >30 miles away.

Nice to have

• Experience with stream processing tools such as NATS or Kafka.
• Interest or experience contributing to open source projects.
