What you will do

• Design, develop, and modify backend software systems considering service architecture
• Analyze user needs and translate business requirements into scalable software
• Lead design and code reviews to ensure quality
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and product managers on feature implementation and roadmaps
• Contribute to the engineering vision and strategy

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
• 3+ years professional backend development experience with Ruby on Rails
• Strong data model design skills for relational databases
• Critical thinking with business goal alignment in technical decisions
• Effective communication and cross-team collaboration skills

Nice to have

• Experience with Hotwire Turbo/Stimulus and Tailwind CSS
• Frontend or DevOps experience
• Prior fintech industry experience
• Advanced SQL skills for complex reporting and issue investigation
