Salary: $191,000—$223,000 USD

What you will do

• Develop and optimize large-scale backend systems for safety risk detection.
• Integrate rules and productionized machine learning models for risk identification.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize risk mitigation strategies.
• Build tooling and automation for efficient safety operations.
• Design and implement data pipelines for product analysis and machine learning.
• Minimize safety incidents and protect users from malicious activities at scale.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience building systems at scale, inclusive of MS or PhD in relevant fields.
• Experience in Scala, Java, or Python.
• Ability to write high-performance production-quality code.
• Exposure to architectural patterns of large, high-scale web applications (APIs, data pipelines, efficient algorithms).
• Ability to effectively communicate with non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with the Trust and Risk domain.
• Experience with large language models.
