Location: Onsite in Athens, Greece

What you will do

Design, implement, and maintain database solutions using PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Couchbase, MongoDB, OpenSearch, and Elasticsearch.
Optimize query performance and redesign schemas to improve scalability and reliability.
Create and enhance data models for new and existing services.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and operations teams in an agile environment.
Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous integration/deployment.
Implement monitoring and proactively resolve performance bottlenecks and data issues.

Requirements

Location: Must be onsite in Athens, Greece
Proven experience with PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Couchbase, MongoDB, OpenSearch, and Elasticsearch.
Strong skills in query optimization, indexing, and data schema design.
Experience with data modeling for OLTP and OLAP systems.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Nice to have

Experience with cloud-based database services like AWS RDS, Azure SQL, MongoDB Atlas.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
