Back-end (Node.js) Engineer

Location: Kraków, Poland or remote from Poland

Salary: 14,000–19,000 PLN + VAT per month on B2B

What you will do

• Build and maintain reliable, scalable back-end systems and APIs with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Improve application performance and refactor existing code.
• Configure project environments, deployment procedures, and development workflows.
• Work with Product, UI/UX, QA, and Front-end teams to deliver project goals.
• Fix bugs, write unit tests, and document implemented solutions.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional Node.js development experience.
• Practical knowledge of VanillaJS and TypeScript.
• Experience creating robust APIs and designing scalable back-end architecture.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and data management.
• Experience with tools and environments such as CircleCI, Docker, Kubernetes, Swarm, AWS, GCP, or DigitalOcean.
• Upper-intermediate or higher English, plus good knowledge of ECMAScript specifications and Git.

Nice to have

• Experience with microservice architecture.
• Additional experience working with AWS.
