What you will do

• Design and optimize core networking services for request routing, load balancing, and streaming data delivery.
• Implement and maintain network protocols including HTTP/1.1, HTTP/2, and WebSockets.
• Build observability systems using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana for production monitoring.
• Develop runtime integrations and compatibility layers for third-party web applications.
• Write portable, type-safe TypeScript code compatible with both Node.js and Bun runtimes.
• Own projects end-to-end, from research and architecture design to deployment and testing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Strong expertise in Node.js and high-performance backend systems.
• Deep understanding of asynchronous programming, event loops, and streams.
• Practical knowledge of networking protocols (HTTP/2, TLS, WebSockets) and troubleshooting.
• Experience designing modular, scalable systems using SQL databases and ORM frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and monorepo workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with reverse engineering minified/obfuscated JavaScript bundles.
• Proficiency in browser instrumentation and runtime code injection.
• Experience with cross-browser testing tools like Playwright.
