Location: Remote (Must be based in Czechia, Serbia, Poland, Spain, Armenia, or Georgia)

What you will do
- Design and optimize core networking services for request routing, load balancing, and streaming data delivery.
- Implement and maintain network protocols including HTTP/1.1, HTTP/2, and WebSockets.
- Build observability systems using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana for production monitoring.
- Develop runtime integrations and compatibility layers for third-party web applications.
- Write portable, type-safe TypeScript code compatible with both Node.js and Bun runtimes.
- Own projects end-to-end, from research and architecture design to deployment and testing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Strong expertise in Node.js and high-performance backend systems.
- Deep understanding of asynchronous programming, event loops, and streams.
- Practical knowledge of networking protocols (HTTP/2, TLS, WebSockets) and troubleshooting.
- Experience designing modular, scalable systems using SQL databases and ORM frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and monorepo workflows.
Nice to have
- Experience with reverse engineering minified/obfuscated JavaScript bundles.
- Proficiency in browser instrumentation and runtime code injection.
- Experience with cross-browser testing tools like Playwright.
