Fullstack Software Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Fully remote worldwide; must be able to work within 5 hours of EST, either 5 hours ahead or behind. Optional monthly gatherings take place in New York City, with quarterly on-sites in various locations worldwide.

Compensation: $150,000–$220,000 annually for Engineer V; $180,000–$250,000 annually for Engineer VI.

What you will do

• Design and build scalable, high-availability core systems and customer-facing admin interfaces and UIs.
• Define and apply well-structured architectural patterns across current and greenfield products.
• Rapidly debug production issues and solve complex technical problems.
• Implement innovative solutions and contribute to experimental and technically driven initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, design, and other cross-functional teams.
• Participate in end-to-end product ownership, including customer interaction, process improvement, and on-call rotation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience for Engineer V or 12+ years for Engineer VI.
• Expertise in at least one of Python, PHP, or JavaScript, with deep knowledge of multiple programming languages.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design, functional programming, design patterns, and modern software engineering paradigms.
• Experience with technologies and frameworks including Puppeteer, React, Symfony, and Flask.
• Broad AWS and cloud infrastructure knowledge, with deep experience in at least one cloud infrastructure area.
• Ability to work within 5 hours of EST, either 5 hours ahead or 5 hours behind.
