What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud data infrastructure.
• Develop and optimize data processing jobs using Big Data tools.
• Manage data integration and ETL workflows to ensure data quality.
• Collaborate on database design and advanced modeling.
• Integrate and manage relational and NoSQL database systems.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in data engineering, preferably with GCP.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Hands-on experience with Big Data tools like Spark, Flink, Kafka, and Elasticsearch.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with NoSQL databases.
• Fluency in English (B2 level).
• Availability for hybrid work in Porto, Portugal.

Nice to have

• Experience with other cloud services like AWS S3 or Azure Data Factory.
• Expertise in additional Big Data ecosystem tools such as Hadoop, Hive, or Druid.
