What you will do

• Lead complex initiatives and collaborate with other teams to agree on technical designs.
• Coach and mentor junior engineers, influencing and improving engineering practices within a team.
• Develop and maintain Java backend services using Spring Boot and other relevant frameworks.
• Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development (TDD).
• Work in an Agile development environment.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java backend development.
• Experience with leading complex initiatives and the collaboration with other teams to agree technical designs is critical
• Experience with Coaching and mentoring more junior engineers, influencing and improving the engineering practices within a team.
• Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development (TDD, Shift-Left).
• Proficiency in Git and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Experience with Spring Boot and other relevant backend frameworks.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Experience with Terraform.
• Knowledge in Kafka.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with GraphQL Federation.
• Knowledge in Azure Cloud.
