What you will do

• Own architecture and technical direction for the reporting and dashboard platform ensuring scalability and real-time analytics.
• Lead design and development of data ingestion, streaming, processing, visualization, and semantic modeling components.
• Architect import/export pipelines, data sharing, and BI connectors.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineering teams, and stakeholders on strategic initiatives and system-wide designs.
• Integrate AI/ML, especially Agentic AI, into reporting products to surface intelligent analytics.
• Mentor engineers, contribute to roadmap and resource planning, and improve engineering efficiency and quality.

Requirements

• Must have 10+ years of software R&D experience and proven principal or director-level engineering leadership.
• Strong expertise in data architecture, streaming/batch pipelines, ETL/ELT, data modeling, and analytics platforms.
• Proficient in backend programming (C# preferred), SQL, and distributed system design.
• Experience with multi-tenant reporting systems and customer-facing BI products.
• Understanding of AI/ML and LLMs, especially Agentic AI, for intelligent data products.
• Location: Must be based in the US (remote).

Nice to have

• Advanced degrees (M.S. or PhD) in technical fields.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, MetricFlow, cube.dev, and BI connectors.
• Familiarity with React and front-end data visualization architectures.
• Contributions to open-source BI/data tooling or thought leadership in data architecture.
