What you will do

• Research and apply state-of-the-art semantic and ontology domain approaches and toolkits.
• Lead strategy, design, and development of enterprise semantic solutions including taxonomies, ontologies, and knowledge graphs.
• Implement semantic layer solutions such as taxonomy/ontology management tools and graph databases.
• Interpret semantic schemas and develop solution architectures and governance plans.
• Ensure quality, interoperability, and reusability of data and knowledge assets following FAIR Data Principles and Semantic Web standards.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience designing and managing taxonomies, thesauri, or ontologies.
• Expertise in knowledge engineering, ontology development, and use of generative AI and LLMs in scientific domains.
• Experience with Semantic Web technologies (RDF, OWL, SKOS, SPARQL) and ontology development tools.
• Programming skills in Java, C/C++, Python.
• Knowledge of NLP tools, data modeling, pattern recognition, and knowledge graphs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and databases (SQL, NoSQL).
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as Computer Science or Data Science.
