What you will do

• Contribute to Trino, PrestoDB, and related open-source projects.
• Develop and optimize distributed query engines for high-performance data processing.
• Implement SQL federation for cross-platform data querying.
• Build and improve connector architectures for diverse data sources.
• Apply advanced query optimization and performance-tuning techniques.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on system integration and deployment.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Strong expertise in distributed query engines and SQL federation systems.
• Deep understanding of connector architecture and data source integration.
• Experience with query optimization, performance tuning, distributed systems, and large-scale data processing.
• Core contributions to Apache open-source projects such as Trino, PrestoDB, Spark, Hive, or similar.
• Advanced English proficiency.
