DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes)

Location: Fully remote, open to applicants anywhere in Europe; listed locations include Kraków, Bucharest, Lisbon, and Vilnius.

What you will do

• Manage and build hybrid infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments, primarily using Kubernetes.
• Configure and maintain internal services, deployment environments, and production infrastructure.
• Build monitoring and log-management systems and improve infrastructure reliability.
• Drive bare-metal deployments, performance testing, and integration testing.
• Perform root-cause analysis for production incidents and support disaster response, including 24/7 on-call availability in case of a disaster.
• Work closely with software development and QA teams on the software delivery process.

Requirements

• More than 4 years of continuous experience in DevOps or IT systems administration.
• Practical experience administering Unix/Linux servers, including Debian/Ubuntu and RHEL/CentOS.
• Experience with hybrid infrastructure, CI/CD, configuration management, virtualization, containerization, and cloud-based DevOps practices.
• Strong Kubernetes, Terraform, IaC, Git, scripting, monitoring, databases, and clustering experience.
• Knowledge of IT security practices, ISO 27001, SOC 2 requirements, CIS benchmarks, advanced networking, ACLs, firewalls, VPN tunnels, and routing.
• Availability for 24/7 on-call support in case of a disaster.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS or GCP.
• Experience with the Microsoft 365 stack.
