What you will do

• Collaborate with artists and engineers to design, research, and implement rendering features
• Find solutions to rendering problems and maintain current graphics systems
• Optimize and polish existing graphics features for the in-house engine
• Implement new graphics features to enhance player experience and modernize the renderer
• Optimize code to improve CPU/GPU utilization and reduce memory footprint

Requirements

• Location: Must be onsite in Hunt Valley, MD, US
• 5+ years of software development experience
• Proficient in C++, graphics engine and shader programming, and HLSL
• Familiarity with global lighting, dynamic lighting, shadow rendering, and 3D math
• Strong debugging, architecture, and software design skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Nice to have

• Experience in game development as a Graphics Engineer
• Knowledge of modern rendering APIs such as D3D12 and Vulkan
• Experience developing for multiple platforms (Windows, Xbox Series X|S, PS5)
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience with multi-threaded, real-time systems
