What you will do

  • Help integrate Flow Production Tracking with DCC tools, syncing with Jira, and supporting efficient creative review pipelines.
  • Design and implement USD workflows, tools, and exporters for cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Design, implement, and maintain workflows and tools to transition source assets to optimized idTech assets.
  • Improve iteration times and data flows between DCC and idTech applications by creating tools.
  • Design intuitive UIs (QT) and workflows for DCC Artists.
  • Troubleshoot and prioritize content creation issues with tools and workflow.
  • Develop, motivate, and mentor team members, creating opportunities for challenge and growth.

Requirements

  • Fluent in a variety of DCC scripting languages including C/C++, Python, JavaScript, QT, and MEL.
  • Experience with USD and USD pipelines.
  • Experience scripting for various DCC packages such as Houdini, Maya, Substance, Resolve, and Premiere.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in the video game and/or film industry, or relevant professional experience.
  • Experience developing and maintaining tools used in production environments.
  • Strong soft skills and management experience, including empathy for addressing problems and respect for others’ time.
  • Solid understanding of art integration with game engines as well as corresponding technical restraints.
