What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain systems collaboratively with Gameplay, Art, and other teams for open-world simulation.
• Maintain existing codebase and support the wider development team in diagnosing problems.
• Perform research to acquire new knowledge for technological evolution.
• Develop high performance and easy to use tools and systems for streaming, world representation, and other subsystems.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science/related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years’ experience in C/C++ game development.
• One shipped title; preferably on Xbox and/or PlayStation consoles.
• Technical understanding of core game systems and technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and technical communication.
• An analytical, performance-focused mindset.
• Experience in developing or working with systems such as streaming, scene management, multithreading, and memory management.

Nice to have

• Self-motivated, enthusiastic about games and curious about how things work.
• Multi-platform and console experience.
• Experience working on open-world, population, and/or streaming systems.
• Experience working closely with Gameplay teams.
