Lead Software Engineer - Operations and Portfolio Analytics (FinTech)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid model with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote

Occasional remote work is available across Poland and internationally for up to 24 domestic and 20 international days per year, subject to internal policy.

What you will do

• Debug C# and APL code and implement high-quality fixes for crashes, errors, and existing functionality.
• Investigate system-performance issues in C# and APL modules and prevent recurring system failures.
• Replicate client issues in internal installations for debugging and analysis.
• Work with business consultants and developers to evaluate and resolve customer issues.
• Support consultants by explaining existing code and system behavior.
• Act as an interface between product support, onsite and remote clients, support teams, and the central product department.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience with C# and .NET, including WinForms.
• Experience supporting desktop applications.
• Knowledge of the .NET framework, object-oriented design principles, tracing, debugging, and common debugging tools.
• Ability to read, understand, and analyze complex code and architecture across front-end and back-end systems.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, prioritization, and communication skills in time-sensitive environments.
• Knowledge of or strong interest in financial issues and investment-management software.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of a functional programming language such as APL, F#, or Haskell.
