Developer - Operations and Portfolio Analytics (Finance)

TL;DR

Developer - Operations and Portfolio Analytics (Fintech): Debugging and fixing C# and APL code for investment management software with an accent on providing high-quality solutions for crashes and erroneous code. Focus on investigating system performance issues, understanding complex code, and acting as an interface between support and product teams.

Location: Hybrid in Warsaw, Poland (2 days in office, 3 days remote). Occasional remote work across Poland and international options available (up to 24 days domestic, 20 days international per year).

What you will do

• Debug and fix C# & APL code for existing functionality.
• Collaborate with business consultants and other developers to resolve customer issues.
• Investigate and resolve system performance issues in C# & APL modules.
• Replicate client issues in internal installations for analysis.
• Directly interact with product support and clients via various channels.
• Serve as a key interface between Support teams and the Central Product Department.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of C# and .Net experience (including Winforms).
• Experience supporting desktop applications.
• Knowledge of the .NET framework and object-oriented programming design principles.
• Strong tracing, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability and willingness to read, understand, and analyze complex code.
• Interest and ability to work with complex front- and back-end architecture.
• English: B2 required.

Nice to have

• Good understanding of a functional programming language like APL, F#, or Haskell.
• Knowledge or high interest in financial issues (theoretical and practical).
