What you will do

• Define technical strategy, roadmap, and standards for cloud infrastructure, container runtime, and orchestration.
• Lead platform adoption efforts, including Kubernetes migrations and runtime platform scaling.
• Contribute production code and infrastructure-as-code while performing high-level design and code reviews.
• Design resilient infrastructure patterns for microservices, data stores, and messaging systems.
• Establish SRE practices, including SLO/SLI definition, observability, incident response, and performance tuning.
• Drive AWS cost optimization strategies and mentor senior and mid-level engineering talent.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with distributed cloud services.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
• Proven ability to write production code in languages such as Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience leading cross-team technical initiatives and influencing architectural decisions.
• Strong background in designing for security, scalability, and operational automation.

Nice to have

• Proven track record in platform engineering or SRE leadership at scale.
• Experience with advanced monitoring stacks like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Deep knowledge of service mesh technologies and API gateway patterns.
• Background in migrating monoliths to cloud-native architectures.
