What you will do

• Define technical strategy and standards for container runtime, orchestration, and infrastructure automation.
• Drive platform adoption and lead complex migrations to cloud-native architectures.
• Contribute production code and IaC templates while performing design and code reviews.
• Implement SRE practices, including SLO/SLI definition, observability, and incident response.
• Optimize AWS cloud infrastructure costs through architecture changes and strategic resource management.
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineering talent to raise technical standards.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience in distributed cloud services.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EKS, VPC, IAM, RDS) and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and Helm.
• Production-level coding experience in languages such as Go, Python, or Java.
• Proven ability to lead cross-team technical initiatives and influence architecture.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Leadership experience in platform engineering or SRE at scale.
• Deep knowledge of service meshes (Istio, Linkerd) and advanced networking.
• Experience with advanced monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
• Proven track record of AWS cost optimization at enterprise scale.
