What you will do

• Lead end-to-end qualification of NVMe SSDs, developing and executing test plans for performance, endurance, reliability, and compatibility.
• Drive failure analysis and root cause identification, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
• Develop new SSD qualification tests focusing on advanced NVMe features and requirements.
• Champion process improvements to enhance efficiency, consistency, and automation in qualification methods.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to improve team effectiveness.

Requirements

• Must work onsite in Santa Clara, California.
• Extensive experience in storage system validation or design, especially SSD/HDD development and qualification.
• Strong proficiency with storage interface protocols NVMe, SAS, SATA, and related bus analyzers and trace tools.
• Expertise in failure mode analysis and complex troubleshooting for flash-based devices.
• Advanced scripting skills to automate tests and streamline qualification cycles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
