What you will do

• Develop and operate the Machine Learning platform and infrastructure using Java17, BigData technologies, and cloud services (Docker, Kubernetes, GCP).
• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists to run ML predictions in production environments.
• Build and maintain tools for data tracking, feature stores, and monitoring with Sonarqube and Datadog.
• Drive technical improvements, architecture enhancements, and deliver complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Provide mentorship, conduct code and architecture reviews, and foster team skill growth.
• Communicate complex technical ideas effectively to both technical and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Barcelona, Madrid, Alicante, Palma de Mallorca, or Milan.
• English: Good English level to work in a multicultural environment.
• Proven senior engineering experience with technical leadership and strategic improvements.
• Experience with Java and BigData technologies including Kafka, Cassandra, Postgres, Redis, Neo4j.
• Familiarity with cloud environments, containerization, and continuous delivery (Docker, Kubernetes, GCP).
• Ability to mentor and collaborate effectively within diverse teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with applied AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or other AI-powered coding assistants.
• Curiosity and eagerness to experiment and integrate AI-driven solutions into development workflows.
