What you will do

• Develop and implement strategies for reading SQL Server or Oracle binary logs to improve data replication accuracy and efficiency.
• Reverse engineer database binary logs to enhance data integrity and replication performance.
• Debug and analyze existing code used by large SQL Server clusters.
• Analyze and develop support for new features introduced by SQL Server and Oracle.
• Maintain and improve existing connectors and infrastructure.
• Collaborate on software design and technical roadmap development.
• Support Customer Success and Go-To-Market teams with technical expertise.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid position based in Denver, Colorado, United States
• 10+ years programming experience in Java, C, or C++ with strong SQL Server background.
• Experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle binary log reading and reverse engineering.
• Ability to write well-structured, performant code and solve critical problems for large customers.
• Strong analytical mindset and experience designing high-performance systems.
• Enjoy mentoring junior developers and breaking down customer requirements into engineering tasks.

Nice to have

• Advanced knowledge in reverse engineering database systems.
• Experience with open source projects and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience in ETL/ELT data processing and connector development.
