What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain efficient data pipelines using Python, SQL, DBT, and Airflow.
• Contribute to scalable data modelling and architecture for analytical needs.
• Implement data quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with product owners, data analysts, and stakeholders in an agile environment.
• Support dashboard and report development to empower data users.
• Promote best practices in data engineering including testing and documentation.

Requirements

• Fluent English required.
• Must be located in or near Barcelona with hybrid work format.
• Proven experience in data engineering, Python, SQL, DBT, and Airflow.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud data warehousing (BigQuery) and ETL/ELT principles.
• Experience working in agile teams and strong communication skills.
• Proactive, organized, and able to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Experience with other Google Cloud Platform services.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Looker.
• Previous experience in travel or e-commerce industries.
