What you will do

• Lead a high-performing backend and frontend engineering team fostering growth and technical excellence.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and UX designers to deliver impactful product features.
• Drive adoption of machine learning models and AI personalization frameworks into customer-facing features.
• Ensure engineering quality via design and code reviews and maintain high testing standards.
• Measure and improve team performance while mentoring engineers in technical and leadership skills.
• Align with other engineering teams to ensure consistent technical strategy and delivery cadence.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid work in Barcelona, Madrid, or Milan
• Proven experience as a Lead Engineer with tech leadership in B2C or product-led organizations.
• Strong interest or experience applying machine learning or AI to product problems.
• Solid understanding of personalization strategies impacting conversion and monetization.
• Experience building distributed systems and REST APIs with a product mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable reporting to directors.
