What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and monitor business-critical features autonomously and reliably in production.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to implement pragmatic end-to-end solutions for real-world problems.
• Architect high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions hosted on AWS.
• Mentor team members and promote technical growth across the engineering department.
• Stay current with new technologies and architectures to apply them to solve business challenges.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in back-end development using TypeScript, NodeJS, Python, Ruby/Rails or similar languages.
• Extensive production experience with AWS, specifically for high-volume and high-availability services.
• Ability to design simple and pragmatic architectures that solve problems at scale.
• Strong proactive communication skills and ability to collaborate with different roles.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Madrid office (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Experience working on frontend applications, preferably with React.
