What you will do

• Develop and enhance WMS modules using Progress/OpenEdge.
• Collaborate in cross-functional domain teams to deliver impactful solutions.
• Integrate APIs to enable seamless communication across systems.
• Apply AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and long-term system scalability.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Occasional travel to other hirify.global sites may be required.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Progress 4GL / OpenEdge development.
• Strong understanding of API design and integration.
• Comfortable working in agile, cross-functional teams.
• English: B2 level or higher required.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Tabnine).
• Familiarity with logistics, warehousing, or ERP systems.
• Experience with modern development practices (CI/CD, DevOps).
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence), SonarQube, and web-based UI technologies.
• Knowledge of complementary technologies (SQL, RESTful APIs, .NET, cloud platforms).
