What you will do

• Perform validation of Ethernet/InfiniBand switch or LOM/NIC products including function, performance, and stress tests
• Maintain SOPs for test plans and procedures
• Support debugging of failed units for root cause investigation and feedback
• Report hardware and software quality assurance issues in bug tracking systems
• Collaborate with designers to resolve product issues discovered during testing
• Duplicate customer issues when necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree required
• Minimum 3 years experience in networking testing
• Knowledge of TCP/IP Layer 2 and Layer 3 or above
• Ability to write test scripts for automation (BASH, Tcl, Python)
• Familiarity with packet generators (Spirent, Ixia) and performance utilities (IxChariot, iperf, nuttcp, NTTTCP)
• Knowledge of server/PC architecture

• Certifications such as CCNA, LPI, RHCE
