What you will do

  • Drive quality into the design and development process to ensure products are robust and reliable.
  • Manage quality metrics and deliverables throughout the APQP 5-phase product development lifecycle.
  • Lead risk management activities and champion the Lessons Learned process to prevent recurrence of issues.
  • Partner with Design and Product Engineers to control development through a phase-gate approach.
  • Lead quality assessments of new suppliers and critical components during the design phase.
  • Manage the transition from NPD to mass production, ensuring all quality gates are met.

Requirements

  • BS degree in engineering, mathematics, or sciences.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a related quality engineering role.
  • Strong knowledge of the 5-phase APQP process, D/PFMEA, and risk-based thinking.
  • Experience with semiconductor reliability testing, failure mechanisms, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in analytical and statistical tools including DoE, MSA, and CpK.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Must be willing to accommodate meetings across different time zones.
