Salary: $93,000–$185,000 depending on experience level

What you will do

• Design, integrate, test, and debug embedded flight software meeting safety and regulatory standards
• Translate customer requirements into software products for embedded systems
• Develop and maintain software for specialized hardware in satellite programs
• Conduct cyber vulnerability analysis and implement cyber monitoring algorithms
• Collaborate with multi-disciplined teams including systems, software, and security engineering
• Lead or support software project management and documentation efforts depending on experience level

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen able to obtain SECRET U.S. Security Clearance
• 2+ years experience designing software for real-time or non-real-time systems
• 3+ years experience in C, C++, Java, Rust, or Python software development
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field preferred
• Experience with embedded real-time software development and software lifecycle
• Ability to work onsite full-time in El Segundo, CA

Nice to have

• Experience with GitLab, Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence
• Experience with network analysis tools like Wireshark and debugging tools
• Experience automating builds and tests using DevOps toolchains
