What you will do

• Provide strong disciplinary and technical leadership to a team of 10-15 software engineers.
• Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance team environment.
• Mentor and coach team members, identifying skill gaps and supporting professional development.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration with international R&D teams and manage workload and prioritization.
• Oversee design, development, and testing of the Python-based XLAPI ensuring quality and best practices.
• Enable scaling of XLAPI across use cases including AI-based test script development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field required.
• Proven experience in software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Solid understanding of telecommunications industry and 3GPP 4G/5G mobile communication protocols.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative international team environment.
• Excellent English communication skills required; German is a plus.
