Javascript Support Engineer (Ad Tech)

Location: Hybrid work model, must be based in Mumbai, India

What you will do

• Support the campaign management team with technical setup and delivery of RTB campaigns across the hirify.global platform.
• Support the creative team in building and hosting creative with all relevant tracking required.
• Quickly and efficiently solve or escalate troubleshooting tickets submitted by the Operations team using Jira.
• Perform campaign debugging duties in line with SLA and assist the engineering team with test processes for new functionality.
• Lead on third-party certification processes and keep up to date with third-party ad technology.
• Validate campaign setup and troubleshoot any technical issues, ensuring correct tracking across metrics and media types.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science and 3-5 years of related hands-on engineering experience.
• Understanding of Linux/Unix/Windows Operating Systems and some Shell Scripting knowledge.
• Basic to intermediate experience with PHP, Java, Javascript, and HTML.
• Knowledge of Mobile App technology (especially Android and iPhone).
• Understanding of networking (basic to intermediate), HTTP/HTTPS protocols, and API (e.g., REST API).
• Practical experience using incident tracking systems such as JIRA, and strong MySQL skills.
• Experience within the advertising or ad tech industries.
• Shift: 12 am - 8 am (IST)
