Javascript Support Engineer (AdTech)

Location: Hybrid role based in Mumbai (Jogeshwari), India; shift from 2pm to 10pm IST

What you will do

• Support the technical setup and delivery of RTB campaigns across the hirify.global platform.
• Help build, host, and validate creatives with the required tracking.
• Investigate, resolve, or escalate Jira troubleshooting tickets from the Operations team and debug campaigns within SLA.
• Assist Engineering with testing new functionality and identify risks, red flags, and recurring issue patterns.
• Lead certification processes for third-party ad technologies, servers, and tools such as rich media providers.
• Train colleagues and document proven processes, product updates, and technical knowledge.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science and 3–5 years of relevant hands-on engineering experience.
• Knowledge of Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems, plus basic shell scripting.
• Basic to intermediate experience with PHP, Java, JavaScript, and HTML.
• Strong MySQL experience, including updating campaign tags and campaign settings; PostgreSQL experience is appreciated.
• Understanding of networking, HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, mobile application technologies, and frameworks.
• Experience with incident tracking systems such as Jira; GitHub or GitLab experience is preferred.

• Experience in advertising or adtech.
