What you will do
- Monitor and resolve alerts for Linux/Unix and virtualized systems using ServiceNow and TrueSight.
- Troubleshoot filesystem, CPU, memory, swap, and agent issues.
- Execute standard changes such as service restarts and configuration updates.
- Perform health checks and first-level troubleshooting for GPFS, LSF, OpenShift, and RStudio environments.
- Use Ansible Tower and Red Hat Satellite for patching and configuration management.
- Maintain and improve automation scripts and reporting tools.
Requirements
- Availability in EST time zone.
- 3–5 years experience supporting RHEL and Ubuntu in production environments.
- Hands-on experience with VMware ESX, GPFS, LSF, OpenShift, and RStudio.
- Strong knowledge of Ansible Tower, Red Hat Satellite, Puppet, and shell scripting.
- Experience with ServiceNow, TrueSight, and PATROL for monitoring and ITSM.
- RHCSA and/or ITIL v4 Foundation certification.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with AIX and other Unix platforms (HP-UX, Solaris).
