Location: Remote (Global) with EST availability

hirify.global is an international company with a global team working both in-office and remotely.

What you will do

  • Monitor and resolve alerts via ServiceNow and TrueSight for Linux/Unix and virtualized systems.
  • Troubleshoot filesystem, CPU, memory, swap, and agent issues.
  • Execute approved standard changes such as service restarts and configuration updates.
  • Perform health checks and first-level troubleshooting for GPFS, LSF, OpenShift, and RStudio environments.
  • Use Ansible Tower and Red Hat Satellite for patching and configuration management.
  • Maintain and improve automation scripts and participate in the on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • Strong experience supporting RHEL 6–9 and Ubuntu 20/22/24 in production environments.
  • Hands-on experience with VMware ESX, GPFS, and LSF, and working knowledge of OpenShift and RStudio services.
  • Strong understanding of Ansible Tower, Red Hat Satellite, Puppet, and shell scripting.
  • Experience with ServiceNow, TrueSight, and PATROL for monitoring and ITSM processes.
  • Solid grasp of Linux networking and remote troubleshooting practices in large enterprise environments.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Linux/Unix support within enterprise environments.
  • RHCSA and/or ITIL v4 Foundation certification.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively within remote, structured support operations.
  • EST availability.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with AIX and other Unix platforms (HP-UX, Solaris).
