What you will do

• Design and build scalable, reliable platform features across middleware components like Kubernetes.
• Automate infrastructure setup and management to improve system performance and efficiency.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions using tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Collaborate on platform strategy aligning with business goals and product roadmap.
• Ensure security best practices and compliance with relevant standards.
• Promote DevOps and GitOps practices and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of platform engineering experience with highly available, distributed, high-traffic systems.
• Deep Linux expertise managing bare-metal or hybrid on-prem environments.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Ansible and Terraform.
• Solid experience building and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines and GitOps tooling.
• Experience with Prometheus and Grafana in production environments.
• Hybrid work setup with onsite presence in Rotterdam and relocation support requiring a valid EU work permit.

Nice to have

• Experience with middleware technologies like OpenSearch, MariaDB, or RabbitMQ.
• Proficiency in Python or Go programming languages.
