What you will do
- Lead backend development of hirify.global Platform’s public API and internal services ensuring stability, performance, and developer tools.
- Improve and consolidate internal systems, tooling, and observability to reduce complexity.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to scope and deliver features.
- Enhance performance, reliability, and data modeling to support scaling.
- Participate in on-call rotations and maintenance including bug fixes and security incident follow-ups.
- Contribute to engineering culture through knowledge sharing, code reviews, and leadership.
Requirements
- Remote work: Fully remote position with global team.
- English: Proficient English required (job posting in English).
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining public APIs or extensibility platforms.
- Strong backend development skills with Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and MongoDB.
- Experience leading backend projects and shaping architecture.
- Systems thinking and ability to improve platform infrastructure and tooling.
- 7+ years of relevant experience preferred but impact and depth valued over exact years.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with AI tools integration for development and debugging.
- Experience with microservices architecture, AWS, Kubernetes, and monorepos.
- Background in content creation or using hirify.global product.
