What you will do

• Build scalable, reliable systems that power the travel platform, including supplier integrations, search, pricing, and booking.
• Craft and deliver backend solutions to simplify business travel and elevate the traveler experience.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional product and data teams.
• Solve complex technical challenges that directly impact growth and customer satisfaction.
• Enhance API performance, integrate new partners, and scale core services.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend software hirify.globalering.
• Strong foundation in API development, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Comfortable working with modern backend languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Kotlin, TypeScript).
• Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• This is a full-time contractor position for candidates based in Latin America only.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes, gRPC, observability tools, and caching systems like Redis.
