What you will do

  • Develop and implement security solutions, architectures, and policies to protect systems, data, and digital assets.
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing security team and foster a culture of security awareness.
  • Align security programs with business objectives and provide strategic guidance to executives.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to financial transactions, data, and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations such as DORA and MiCAR and develop effective policies.
  • Coordinate incident response plans and collaborate with engineering and product teams to embed security early in development.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years experience in information security with at least 5 years in leadership, preferably in crypto or financial services.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • Strong technical expertise in security solutions, risk management, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, ISO, SOC 2, NIST).
  • Proven leadership and communication skills to manage teams and articulate security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and pragmatic approach balancing compliance and engineering agility.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends.
