FIX Onboarding and Connectivity Engineer

What you will do

• Onboard proprietary trading desks and external clients to new products, exchanges, and trading connectivity.
• Build and maintain connectivity systems supporting proprietary and client-facing electronic trading.
• Prioritize requests from trading desks and coordinate projects across developers, infrastructure engineers, clients, and external parties.
• Manage onboarding projects through production deployment and troubleshoot technical connectivity issues.
• Use the Unix command line and develop code of varying complexity to deliver connectivity projects.
• Suggest improvements to team collaboration, project delivery, and internal technology interfaces.

Requirements

• Proficiency with coding and the ability to learn complex, changing systems.
• Strong coordination and project management skills across multiple stakeholders.
• Clear written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
• Interest in the microstructure of exchanges and trading systems.
• Fluent English.

Nice to have

• Experience with FIX or other order flow and electronic trading protocols.
• Software engineering experience building applications.
