Cybersecurity Engineer (Threat Modelling)

hirify.global is a financial services firm with a Cybersecurity team focused on protecting applications, data, infrastructure, and business processes.

What you will do

• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities across applications, data, infrastructure, and processes.
• Perform practical threat modelling and translate security principles into architectural improvements.
• Partner with system owners and engineering teams to identify exploits and build secure solutions from the ground up.
• Evaluate security tradeoffs, make risk-based decisions, and balance security controls with business requirements.
• Develop tailored security solutions and creative approaches to complex cybersecurity challenges.
• Teach others and transfer knowledge about threat modelling while documenting decision-making rationale.

Requirements

• Background in offensive security and hands-on technical problem-solving.
• Strong Linux skills, terminal proficiency, and scripting ability.
• Experience building and implementing secure solutions from the ground up.
• Ability to evaluate security tradeoffs, make risk-based decisions, and take accountability.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to build relationships across teams.
• Fluent English required.

• Proficiency in any programming language.
